Part 1:
Ok, ummm…yes. That’s all I really have to say. This truck is sick. Take a grocery getting X5, cross it with an E60 M5 and that’s basically what we have here. That’s the best way that I can describe this thing - which I think was BMW’s intent, right? Everything from the absolutely exotic exhaust note to the insane rear backup camera - it’s an M inspired fatty-love-child.
The first thing noticed when walking up on the X5 M is its aggressive stance. It has rake, no doubt, and it looks like it’s ready to haul you-know-what in any direction you tell it. Next come the ominously large air-dams towards the bottom of its Jay Leno sized chin.
Then it happens - you hit the Start button which really should read ‘Uh-Oh’.
